It probably feels like this inside the womb.
Dark, red, and muddy sight.
Lukewarm, and wet feeling.

The guy’s been crazy since he got dropped into the dungeon. All that’s happened is that it’s more noticible now

Whois this girl that he keeps on taking about and what curse is it? …..
It kind of makes me wonder if he is going through the same that Tom Hanks character went through in Cast Away. Or could be something do with the skill he required against that Lich.
So my guess is: this is from the future when he is starting to become insane due to age (around 400 years old according to the Witch’s assistant), the girl is the one who saved him from the cockroaches and because of plot they both long ago have become monsters looking to finish the labyrinth, they used some kind of skill loop to mutually booster themselves or to mutually force each other to go forward

I think they have both become absorbed into the dungeon and become a part of it, like a “sacrifice”, and have become non-human humans that can be appraised.
that could be why he is reborn after he gets killed as dungeon inhabitants can get re-spawned.
Junpei & the girl could have become a new dungeon class or the only class capable of clearing the dungeon.
