Well apparently they did give it to her in reference to my previous comment on the previous chapter. Thanks for the chapter. Is it weird that i’m imagining her with a body that has been excessively inflated/rounded after consuming the dragon rolling around trying to move for a bit until it suddenly digests and returns her to her former size? Um if she gave her shield the hydra skill, would she still be immune to poison and paralyze or is it a persistent passive that runs as long as it’s equipped?
3 days later, everyone is trying to get her to join their party, and she will be defended by her friend and that other large shield user

She should just go fight more bosses and have them break her equipment during combat. As it is, her total vitality while in combat (with the equipment in its current base form) is 840. Even if she didn’t have the giant killer buff, her total vitality in combat would still be 420, which is on par with her vitality during her equipmentless fight against the poison dragon. Sheesh.
Can anybody think of any ways to actually PK Maple right now? They’d need offensive power higher than the DPS output of a DUNGEON BOSS. And it can’t be rapid attacks with low individual power either. With the ring equipped, they’d have to deal more than 10% of her HP every 10 minutes, and with meditation, they’d have to deal over 20% every 10 minutes. That might sound simple, but considering this is a VRMMO where skills and combat can actually take literal hours to complete, that’s not anywhere near as easy as it sounds, even if we assume that Maple still only has 40 HP. Unless there is an attack skill that has a 100% defense piercing effect (and it would also either have a fast recharge or absurdly high base attack power), Maple literally cannot be PK’d.
Step 1: Shuffle to a monster rich zone.
Step 2: Provoke everything in earshot.
Step 3: Poison Mist
Step 4: Sit down and meditate.
Step 5: Wake up after realizing you were still logged in and be surprised at the loot all around you.
