Chapter 24 – Turning Point
“Excuse me, I was too emotional…”
After crying out loud in Father’s arms for a while, Grandma finally calmed down after hugging me and Mother by the way.
She’s looking away with an awkward expression.
She looks shy, how cute.
That was what I thought at first, but she seems too tight atmosphere for someone who is just shy, and has a seriously ashamed face… Continue reading
Chapter 23 – Beyond the Conflict Zone
Since having Sándor as my Master, the journey to leave Conflict Zone became so smooth that made me wonder what the difficulty until then was.
We were able to leave the battle royale stage just after advancing a little from the place I fought against Sándor, and while healing Father’s wounds was also a big deal, having a monster like Sándor as an ally made us feel very secure.
I dealt with the battles in the name of training, but thanks to Sándor being around to protect my parents, I can concentrate on just dealing with the opponent in front of me.
In that case, even a Saint-Rank swordsman is not scary. Continue reading
Chapter 22 – New Instructor
“Hey! Are you awake?”
I woke up in a white place, with a self-proclaimed God covered with a white mosaic calling out to me.
Or not. Instead, it was a middle-aged man with black hair who spoke to me.
A familiar face… or rather, it’s the face of the person I’ve been fighting to death before I lost consciousness.
“……!?” Continue reading
Chapter 21 – Great Hero
“Silent casting!? The Sword of Light from earlier as well, in your age, just how much…!”
The black-haired man looked at me with shining eyes for some reason, but I didn’t have the leeway to care about that.
I accelerated using a shockwave, charging in a straight line, only to change direction using [Illusion Step].
I don’t think that attacking head-on would be effective against an opponent of such level.
Using [Illusion Step], a technique that confuses the enemy, and shockwave movement, a strange movement, would make my movements difficult to predict. Continue reading
Chapter 20 – Trampling
“K-Kill him! Go kill him…!!!”
Maybe because the man named himself with their enemy country’s name, or maybe to shake off the pressure that kept getting stronger with each step the man approached them.
The soldiers attacked the man all at once.
I’m sure that the reason why none of them ran away was only because the situation changed too quickly since the Red Dragon’s appearance, but it is possible that everyone subconsciously felt that running away won’t let them escape from this man. Continue reading
Chapter 19 – Meeting a monster
The afternoon of the day that I dreamed of Hitogami.
We left the town and made our way through the forest.
As usual, we didn’t use the highway because there was a possibility of an army blocking it.
Even if it’s not blocked, the checkpoints that block the road from here are very strict.
Maybe apprehensive of their people leaving their country, they would find fault with all people who are trying to pass through and chase them back to their country.
It feels like they’re rejecting all those who come and not letting go of those who leave. Continue reading
Chapter 18 – White Dream
In front of me is a mysterious existence who calls himself Hitogami.
Around me is an otherworldly pure white space where nothing exists.
What a strange dream~.
I must be very exhausted to see such a dream.
Well, I’m really exhausted.
Exhausted, without a doubt.
I felt something’s wrong with my body, so I looked down and realized that I’d returned to my JK body from my elf body. Is it because I’m unconsciously seeking my boring yet peaceful previous life because of the brutal and violent environment I’ve recently experienced? Continue reading
Chapter 17 – Conflict Zone
“Haa… Haa… so annoying…”
One month has passed since being teleported.
I am exhausted at this point.
It was really hard getting here.
In the beginning, it was great to let the information source guide us to leave the forest, but seeing the town, we were staying be burned in the flames of war on our first day stunned me.
The region seems to have become a stage for a battle royale between three countries called Dikt Kingdom, Brauz Empire, and Malkien Mercenary State, so we could only run away without even letting Father be treated properly. Continue reading
Chapter 16 – Confirmation of the current situation
After that, maybe lured by the smell of corpses of the bandits (mercenaries, if the source’s testimony is true), monsters started to gather, so we stripped away everything we could take from them and moved to a relatively safer place while carrying Father and information source on my shoulders.
We’re still in the forest, but it should be a safe enough distance to relieve ourselves of worry.
I should mention here that it was actually Mother’s suggestion to take away the mercenaries’ equipment.
We were sent into this forest with only the clothes we were wearing, so we had no belongings or money. Continue reading
Chapter 15 – Teleport
When I came to my senses, an incomprehensible sight jumped into my eyes.
The scenery that reflected into my eyes was within a forest.
There, I found Father collapsed to the ground, bleeding.
On the other hand, Mother is about to be stripped of her clothes by men who look like bandits.
And, I am currently hanging mid-air, lifted by the neck, just like a cat. Continue reading
Chapter 14 – Turning Point
I instantly slashed monsters that came out of the forest, a Terminate Boar and three Assault Dogs, a monster that looks similar to a Dobermann, into pieces.
It took less than a second.
It was a decent time for a Sword Saint. Continue reading
